How do I diagnose a dead SSD and black screen, so no way to see a BSOD

I suspect my SSD has died. I had been getting strange mini stalls, and finally a bunch of overlapping warnings, notices, video went streaky, etc. and finally degraded to nothing.
In the beginning I had a series of four maybe five beeps (once) from the motherboard
and three beeps when I was fooling with the memory.

I can get to the trouble shooting screen:
    auto repair didn’t work
    restore didn’t work
and I could not get into safe mode.

i have tried taking my four sticks of memory out and trying them in different slot pairs.

I have a “Windows Recovery Drive” USB, but I don’t know what to with it.
also, I think I have an image on my back up if I buy a new HDD, is transferring do able?

    Specs:
Windows 10, updates are current, version unknown.
    Asrock 990FX KILLER FATALITY
    ASUS Geforce GTX 1060 6GB
    4 sticks Corsair 8mg ram 1333 mgz
WD SSD 500G I’m pretty sure.
    Corsair RM650I Power supply.

    Thanks in advance.
BTW my skills are fair, but out of date, but I do my own builds so I am somewhat competent when thing are running OK.

To test the drive these may be some options:

    Sea Tools flash drive
    Ubuntu flash drive
    Empty bay of another computer
    HD enclosure

For Windows 10 licensing information should be on Microsoft servers.
So this allows a clean install or restoring an image onto a new drive.

I tried a variety of things within my grasp, and decided to order a new HDD, so hopefully i will be able to use my old image to restore.

It should be here Monday, so I’ll be back...

I did get one code when I tried a Win 10 rescue CD. All I got was this code:
    0xc000000f

BTW, I could not get my flash drive to boot, but lucked out and found a CD.

Error code: 0xc000000f = {File Not Found} The file %hs does not exist.

In case there are important files between today and the backup image date you can open a new thread: partition recovery

Once the drive is in an empty bay or HD enclosure software can be used to see whether there is or is not recoverable data.

I found an old 2013 copy of partition magic, got it running OK.

I’m suspecting the MBR. Maybe I got a virus or something that damaged it.

There is an option to “Fix Mbr”. Is this possible on an ssd, using software that old.

Before attempting boot partition / sector repair > check the status of the drive

Run HD Tune (free version) (all drives)

    Update:
I took my old SSD to my sons house and it would not boot. Same symptoms.
I bought another SSD, (which I will need to get formatted) and will try to use my image on the new SSD. Should be here tomorrow or Wed.
I was unable to find a way to make a boot disk for HD Tune.
So I’ll probably be in touch again as I plow forward.

Is EUFI any benefit to ordinary users?

Im formatting my new drive via the DOS commands available in the rescue environment. Will I need to do anything with the MBR to make it bootable since I’m doing an image via recovery rather than a new install.

How come the new drive needs formatting?
When the image was made it recorded the status at that moment.
When restored it should be back at that moment in time.
Changing the BIOS can impact the ability to boot since the image was with the prior BIOS setting.
So it's better to use the BIOS settings at the time of the backup.
If you clean install then it's easier to modify the BIOS.
