Multiple instance of Windows boot manager in UEFI
Users tend to misunderstand the term "Free" used by DiskPart.
I suggest adding an explanation into "Batch files for use in BSOD debugging"
In this thread:
Multiple instance of Windows boot manager in UEFI
the OP posted the LOGS script instead of the script results.
Multiple instance of Windows boot manager in UEFI
The PowerShellGet-PhysicalDisk
output is wrong in the above case.
The WD SATA HDD is shown as "Unspecified" instead of "HDD".
As a result, DiskParInfo.bat has given wrong output. I cannot think of a solution.
What command options are there that can produce the needed results other than PS get-physicaldisk?
DiskPart is most reliable, and it is most complicated to check whether a disk is not a USB device via DiskPart.
The copy and paste diskpart commands (one step) did not display any errors.
What options are there with .bat other than PS get-physicaldisk?
I think I have already answered your question in my post #278 above.
