BSoD after cold boot or seconds after login

    Hello,

I get BSODs when i boot my PC (usuallyafter bios somtimes within first seconds after login in to win10) and only if the computer was off for a while (~1hour). Restarts are no problem. Today i also got a black screen after boot up. I could use my mouse and there was a loading circle loop. Also i get strange black stripes on the screen when playing AOE Definitive in Fullscreen. But as it dissapears in window mode and when i use task manager i suppose this is a bug.

    What i did so far:
-Checked powerunit pins with multimeter //everything fine

    -Changed PSU anyway

-Clean windows and drivers on a SSD

-Took out my failing/freezin GPU , iam now running my on board gpu

    -unplugged my DVD Drive

    -Memtest 86, 16hours //no error

-Used different RAM slots 1+3and2+4 in dual channel mode

    - used xmp profile 1 in bios,

-used driver verifier with 3rd party drivers and some Microsoft drivers 7/no error

-Furmark andPrime 95 tests //no error

-Used only one Drive with clean win10 at a time and tried different ports and sata cables

    -checked SMART

    -Fresh Windows10 on a HDD

    -flashed BIOS

-used GSmart tools with ultimate boot cd on every drive

    -sfc,chdsk

    System:

    http://speccy.piriform.com/results/Y...bxMMGQDadxYYjQ

    Win Version: 1909(Build18363.657)

I bought these components some time ago and a shop put them toghether. I always had issues and i'am wondering if the motherboard may be the problem.

Thanks for your time. I hope i posted all the information required.

    greetings,
    sax

    Hi sax608,

    Welcome to the BSOD forum.

The logs were in a foreign language and could not be scanned.

Please change the default language to English and upload a new V2.

Thanks so much for your time!!!

    1) cmd prompt is attached
    2) Did everthing you wrote except the OC part. XMP helped to decrease the BSoD because my RAM settings were not like supposed to be according to crucial. But my cpu is running turbo at 4,4Ghz. Should i dissable "XMP profile 1" anyways??

    greetings

EDIT: After i did your steps to fix my problem i plugged in my second RAM. After reboot i got an BSoD. Memory_Management. File is attached..

I flipped the memory sticks to check wether its the ram or the slot for now.

Please perform the following steps (maintain order)

    1) Search for C:\windows\memory.dmp > post a share link

    Code:
    LastWriteTime Size (MB) FullName
    ------------- --------- --------
    11/03/2020 12:56:49 514.76 C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP

    2) To ensure that there are no improper bios settings please reset the bios.

3 Ways to Reset Your BIOS - wikiHow:
3 Ways to Reset Your BIOS - wikiHow

How to Clear CMOS (AKA Reset BIOS Settings)

    3) Run memtest86+ version 5.01 for at least 8 passes.
Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool
This may take hours so plan to run it overnight.

    a) Please make sure you use the Memtest86+ version 5.01 with the link below.
Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

The testing is done not by time but by passes.
The more passes the better the testing conditions.
There are a significant number of false negatives if fewer than 8 passes are made.
A false negative is a test pass when there is malfunctioning RAM.
There is 16 GB of RAM on the computer.
    Memtest86+ version 5.01 testing takes approximately 1 - 2 hours /GB RAM
Just 1 error is a fail and you can abort testing.
Then test 1 RAM module at a time in the same DIMM each for 8 or more passes.

    b) When Memtest86+ version 5.01 has completed 8 or more passes use a camera or smart phone camera to take a picture and post an image into the thread.

    MemTest86+ - Test RAM

    4) For any BSOD:

    a) run the V2 log collector to collect new log files

    b) open file explorer> this PC > C: > in the right upper corner search for: C:\Windows\memory.dmp
    > if the file size is < 1.5 GB then zip > post a separate share link into the thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive

It looks like an old version of an Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver is loading (iaStorA.sys version 14.5.0.1081 from 2015). I don't see IRST in the msinfo32 information which makes me think a Windows upgrade didn't properly bring it along. Can you try using the SetupRST.exe version from here, rebooting, and seeing if that helps? I'm not sure it will but there are known issues with older versions of IRST and newer versions of Windows 10; this for example.

The memory dump displayed bugcheck 1a: MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

    There were no misbehaving drivers.

    The installed RAM: CMX16GX3M2A1600C11

This part is not displayed on the motherboard manufacturer's memory support list:
    https://download.gigabyte.com/FileLi...7x-gaming5.pdf

Memtest86+ version 5.01 can test for malfunctioning RAM.
It was not designed to test for incompatible RAM.

The findings appear to be related to incompatible RAM.

Please replace the RAM with modules on the motherboard manufacturer's memory support list.

    Hello guys,

Yes its incompatible. Maybe thats why Memtest86+ is taking soooo long. I'am now at 14h 45min with 7 Passes and it seems to take longer exponential. Should i abort the Test?

Also the Ram i supposed to run at 1600mhz.

I hope i will find DDR3 Ram for my Board to buy!

I will report after buying those.

    Thanks @zbook and @cwsink
