Do you think that was the cause of the problem?

A cause and effect may or may not be able to be determined.

There are more tests that need to be performed.

No blue screens today so far....

What would be the next best tests to run do you think? Scans of all the hard disks?

I have been unable to locate new installers for the 2 drivers you reccomended removing and reinstalling so far so I'm not sure it would be such a good idea to remove them.

There are two log collectors: V2 and DM
Run each and upload results into this thread:

Results for Samsung SSD were in an earlier post. It passed. Currently running HD Tune error checks on all drives but there are many large ones so it's taking a while.

In the meantime here are the latest logs collected from both tools.

In post #15 there are Sea Tools for Windows results for 12 drives.
    8 pass
    4 fail
The row for Samsung displays ready to test.
    Where are the results?

Multiple files/folders did not appear in the latest V2.
Please run the V2 log collector again and upload results into the thread.
Indicate any antivirus or firewall software in use.
