    BSOD caused by driver atikmdag.sys

I'm running with a new driver for my Radeon graphic card.
19.12.2 which is recommended from AMD.

After install all went fine and graphic bugs in games were gone with new driver but after some days playing I got bluescreen all of the sudden.
    system_thread_exception_not_handled.

Opened the dmp-file in BlueScreenView and can see that it's atikmdag.sys that's causing this.
Googled it and saw this article - How to fix atikmdag.sys BSOD errors on Windows 10

Maybe it's the ATI drivers that is causing this. It's their newest driver and it's a clean install of them.

Could be another driver causing the issue.

Suggest you follow this and post in the BSOD section of the forum.

Uninstall your graphics driver with DDU and install clean graphics driver without redundant bloatware

    Ok. Which graphic driver?
I did a clean install earlier with this:

Is it enough if I turn off win update before and later go to safe mode and run DDU and reboot and install 19.12.2?

You can actually remove the driver from the DDU program and reinstall it in normal mode. You do not need to disable Windows Update

Ah ok. Uninstall with DDU in safe mode. Extract the driver from exe-file and locate the driver from device manager?

Uninstall by DDU and reinstall from exe file just like that. Device Manager is not needed here
