Okay, but do you have any idea as to how I can resolve the WSL-related issues that @Spectrum talked about? That also seems to be a possible cause after all. In the meantime I'll get the dump and also try uninstalling those two pieces of software you mentioned. I just don't understand what you mean by WWAJSE. What is that an acronym for? I only had Norton Safe Web from Symantec, as an MS Edge extension, so I uninstalled that.

What exactly is WWAJSE an acronym for? And by the way, after I uninstalled the Norton Safe Web MS Edge Extension, I experienced a BSOD with the same stop code twice. Kernel Mode Heap Corruption. Then I did a clean boot (I'm still in a clean boot state), and got another BSOD but with a different stop code: Kernel Security Check Failure.

I'm going to do a repair upgrade, but should I keep nothing or should I just go with the default setting of keeping files, settings and apps?

When installing drivers always use the best tested drivers displayed on the computer or motherboard manufacturer websites.
For any drivers needed and not displayed use the component manufacturer websites: Intel, Nidia, AMD, Killer Networks, Realtek, etc.
Third party software can install unknown files.

Uninstall driver easy and all drivers installed by the software.
Alternatively, perform a system restore to a date prior to the installation of the software, or reinstall all drivers displayed on the computer or motherboard manufacturer websites.

1) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
2) sfc /scannow
3) dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
4) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
5) sfc /scannow
6) chkdsk /scan
7) wmic recoveros set autoreboot = false
8) wmic recoveros set DebugInfoType = 7
9) bcdedit /enum {badmemory}

10) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

Windows can delete the dump files.

I did a repair upgrade and chose to keep only my files. I'm always being worried it might crash, though, because it often gets slow or has a minor pause occasionally. This has been happening since a few days ago.

I don't know what "WWAJSE" stands for, so it'd be great if someone told me. Also, when searching online about the Kernel Mode Heap Corruption error, I saw in the results list someone saying that he/she was told that uninstalling WSL might fix the issue. The person noted that this doesn't apply to him/her because he/she doesn't remember ever enabling that setting, but am I correct in assuming that most of the time this issue only comes up for people who have WSL? And if so, is there a way to prevent it from happening even while you have WSL? I hope there is.

I installed WSL just now after having done the repair upgrade without keeping apps or settings a few weeks ago. Do you guys know of a way to prevent that Kernel Mode Heap Corruption BSOD error from coming up again?

There are certain things I need it for. Building Qt5 is one.

Uninstalled WSL and now the problem is gone.

I have WSL installed and am getting this same BSOD traceback.
Does anyone have any new information on this bug?
I would strongly prefer NOT to uninstall WSL.
