    Bsod irql_not_less_or_equal

I'm a little unfamilliar with bugchecking BSOD's as the basics is probably to the limit of my knowledge. If someone can lend a hand I would appriciate it.

    The issue occured with just general internet browsing ;

    012419-5500-01.dmp 24/01/2019 12:58:12 IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL 0x0000000a ffffa781`1711ca58 00000000`00000002 00000000`00000001 fffff803`2f0cdc0d hal.dll hal.dll+17a9 x64 ntoskrnl.exe+1b1b40 C:\Windows\MiniDump\012419-5500-01.dmp 16 15 17763 1,172,044 24/01/2019 12:59:01

    Attachment 221978

As I don't know much about this feel free to direct me in some way and I'll try to do whatever is required.

    Hi CCCC

Welcome to the Ten Forums BSOD forum.

Upload the memory dump and post into the thread using a share link (one drive, drop box, or google drive)

    Code:
    Crash dump found at C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP
    Creation date: 01/24/2019 12:58:56
    Size on disk: 651 MB
    1) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
    2) sfc /scannow
    3) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    4) chkdsk /scan
    5) wmic RecoverOS set AutoReboot = False
    6) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

    7) In startup and recovery system failure if automatically restart is checked it can be easy to miss BSOD.
When there is a BSOD and automatically restart is unchecked you should see a BSOD window with bugcheck and : (
Sometimes you may see a misbehaving driver in the form *.sys
At the very beginning of a BSOD you may see a % counter.
If you see the % counter allow it to rise to 100% before rebooting so that is suficient time to create the dump file.
Step #5 should convert the default automatically restart so that the box is now unchecked.

    8) Turn off Windows fast startup:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Power

    HiberbootEnabled DWORD
    changed regedit to 0
    7,
I try not to touch the machine if it's on a bsod.
    1,

    Memory.dmp

Working on sfc /scannow at the moment, I imagine it will take a while.

    1) Uninstall Malwarebytes using the applicable uninstall tool:
    https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb_clean

    2) Malwarebytes can be reinstalled one week after the last BSOD.

    3) uninstall the Nvidia GPU driver using DDU (display driver uninstaller)
    4) re-install the Nvidia GPU driver from the Nvidia website
    5) make sure that you check the clean install box and if available install the physx driver.

Display Driver Uninstaller Download version 18.0.0.7 (or newer version if available)

Download Display Driver Uninstaller - MajorGeeks

    For any BSOD:
    a) run the BETA log collector and post a new zip into the thread
    b) post a share link (one drive, drop box, or google drive) for memory.dmp if the file size is < 1.5 GB

    1) The BIOS: BIOS Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. F3, 08/08/2018

    Upgrade the BIOS: F3 > F6
X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING (rev. 1.0) | Motherboard - GIGABYTE Global

    2) Turn off Windows updates of non-Microsoft drivers:
Enable or Disable Driver Updates in Windows Update in Windows 10 | Tutorials

    3) uninstall the Nvidia GPU driver using DDU (display driver uninstaller)

    4) re-install the Nvidia GPU driver from the Nvidia website
(make sure the new driver is different from:
    25.21.14.1771
    23.21.13.8813

    5) make sure that you check the clean install box and if available install the physx driver.
Display Driver Uninstaller Download version 18.0.0.7 (or newer version if available)
Display Driver Uninstaller: How to use - Windows 7 Help Forums

    6) When there are continued BSOD after driver replacements with different drivers the hardware may be malfunctioning.
See if you can find a friend, neighbor, relative, or local computer store to swap the Nvidia GPU card.
    Perform two tests:
    a) Test a new card in the problematic computer (Nvidia or AMD)
    b) Test the card from the problematic computer in another computer

    7) Update the specs in the "My Computer" section:

System Specs - Fill in at Ten Forums | Tutorials
In the left corner below in your post you find 'My System Specs'.
After clicking it you can find a link a little below that says 'Update your System Spec', click on this link to get to the page where you can fill in your system specs.
System Info - See Your System Specs - Windows 7 Help Forums

Include PSU. cooler, case, peripherals and anything attached to the computer by wired or wireless (mouse, keyboard, headset, printer, xbox, USB wireless network card, etc.)
