I have just enabled the verifier, now the PCs will not boot at all!
tried all the options in the list, in Cmd it says at the top of the page
"not enough memory resources are available to process this command"
in restore PC I located the restore I did I last night, it the goes on to complete the restore, when I reboot it goes into "repairing PC"
it seem to be stuck in a repair loop.
I am prepared to reinstall Windows if req?
my pc has nothing on it that I can not reinstall.
    many thanks.

The fresh system restore usually works but there is a loss of the dump file.
Glad that you started with only three tests rather than the nineteen or twenty simultaneous tests.
There may be more than one restore point.
    Try all available restore points.
If restore fails then open to command prompt and if not already tried enter
    a) verifier /reset and reboot
    b) verifier /bootmode resetonbootfail and reboot
    c) startup options > restart > disable driver signature enforcement and reboot
    d) startup options > restart > safe mode with command prompt > type: verifier/reset and reboot
    e) startup repair

no good, I have tried all the ways, but will not boot.
I am going to reinstall, should I do it with the disc I have? Or reset through the computer?

I have done A full reinstall, just a case of reinstalling everything.
What is the best way to make sure I have the latest drivers installed and keeping them up to date?
It is a minefield out there!
I thought that msi afterburner was an ok program?
I am just getting all the windows update first, then start the install of programs.
    Thanks for your help.

    The motherboard manufacturer is Gigabyte.
In the specs please update the version or revision.

Some computer manufacturers (Dell, HP) have software to download which checks to see whether drivers, BIOS, software, or other firmware needs updating.

For other computer or motherboard manufacturers it requires manual checking of the listed drivers.

Open the website for the computer manufacturer > support > enter the product or serial number or model > select the operating system > view drivers and bios

Windows will automatically update many Microsoft and non-Microsoft drivers.
Windows will never automatically update the BIOS so it must be checked manually.

Software that can be used for overclocking was uninstalled during the troubleshooting process.

The WIndows 10 build 1809 was available yesterday using Windows updates and it is available from the Microsoft website as an iso:
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Install or update to the latest Windows 10 build.
Then install drivers from the Gigabyte website.
If there are any drivers that are needed and are not displayed on the GIgabyte website then get drivers from the component manufacturer websites (Intel, Nvidia, AMD, Killer Networks, Realtek, etc.)
Websites that automatically check and install drivers should be avoided as you do not know what you are getting. There could be unknown files and uncertainty. Websites that have software that optimize drivers should be avoided as we see them as a cause of bsod.

After installing the operating system and drivers, install applications and files.

Once you are satisfied with the computer environment download and install free software to make a backup image.
Macrium is widely used in Ten Forums and is highly recommended.

I have updated the latest drivers from the gigabyte app.
It sorted the ones that were on a disk that came with the pc.
It also updated the bios to version B15.0630.1
Just installed nvidia latest driver without the geforce experience.
    Looking great at the moment.
    will post back, Many thanks.

View this link and indicate whether it matches or does not match the computer's motherboard.

    It displayed:
    GA-Z97X-Gaming 3 (rev. 1.0) rev. 1.1

Once you have confirmed the revision information please update the "My Computer" section:

Include PSU. cooler, case, peripherals and anything attached to the computer by wired or wireless (mouse, keyboard, headset, printer, xbox, USB wireless network card, etc.)

When upgrading the BIOS the most up to date non-beta version should be used unless there are specific needs for the beta bios.
