Recurring BSOD playing Dota 2 Driver IRQL not less not equal ntoskrnl

    Hi Guys,

I've been encountering multiple BSODs while playing dota 2. The latest set of BSODs are Driver IRQL not less not equal. I've reinstalled my graphic drivers and several hardware drivers. I don't encounter BSOD if I play other games. Moreover, I have checked using Windows Driver and Support Assistant, and Windows Update that my drivers are updated.

I hope you can help me out. Thanks in advance!

Is your Windows and MS Office installation genuine?

    Hi philc43,

I'm sorry but I really don't know since I received the laptop from the MSI retailer with all Windows and Office in it. Is there a way to know it?

You have activation avoidance software installed - it does not look genuine to me.

Sorry. I'm not familiar with those technicalities. Just received the unit as is. Should I revert to my laptop provider before I ask any advice from the forum?

    Open an elevated Command Prompt

    enter: slmgr /dlv

Copy the contents of the pop up window and post it here.

You should return your system as it was not properly setup - that is an illegal activation.
