BSOD occurring during use after awake from sleep - ntoskrnl.exe

    Hello guys!

I have searched all around trying to find a solution to this issue.

Situation: After fresh boot, computer runs fine, no issues. After a few hours of use, I put the computer to sleep/standby. The problem occurs AFTER I wake the computer from sleep. I am able to use the computer for a bit, but randomly, my ethernet will cut down (shows up as disconnected) and then it throws a BSOD. I have collected a series of minidumps, 2 of which are included in the DM Log zip.

Also, interestingly, my front audiojack has been giving me distorted audio, whereas the back panel audio is just fine. Not sure if this is related.

    I ran a WhoCrashed:
This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x197650)
    Bugcheck code: 0x133 (0x1, 0x1E00, 0xFFFFF800CC104378, 0x0)
    Error: DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION
    file path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
    product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
    company: Microsoft Corporation
    description: NT Kernel & System
Googling around, I tried the following:
    - sfc /scannow -- No integrity violations
    - Extended Memtest by windows, pass
    - Scanned for malware with Malwerebytes
    - updated Windows to the max with Windows Updates
    - updated all drivers via Windows Update, and then also used Driver Booster 5

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
    -theo

As you seem to have pinpointed the failure to the Ethernet response, I would proceed by looking for an updated driver for your ethernet adapter. It may have something to do with the power to the adapter being automatically turned on and off with the sleep state. The crash dump files did not show much that I could find to help identify if this driver was involved.

Thank you so much for your input and your time in looking into the dump files. I can't tell if the ethernet issue is a symptom or the actual cause of the system crash. I believed I have updated every driver with the Driver Booster software but will double check and find primary drivers, update everything including my BIOS, Windows, disable fast startup and a few other steps to see if it solves the problem.

    Thank you again! Cheers!
