    PC restarts randomly at least 3 times a week.


    PC restarts without any warning except when I enable driver verifier, then it starts to give BSOD's like VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION with 0x000000c4 and 0x000000d1. I must mention what I've tried:
    -updates to the latest version including bios
    -rolling back drivers
    There is also no overclock applied.

    It all started when i was opening Chrome and the crash was when it loaded a video or a thumbnail. I reinstalled the video drivers and the problem was gone. After some time it gave me usbfilter.sys BSOD at startup until i unistalled VMWare. On their site they said that there are some problems with AMD's usb drivers. I had to enter Safe Mode and enable the Windows unistaller. The problem again was gone, for a few days then again restart.

    The debugging indicated problems with the AMD graphics drivers:
    atikmpag.sys
    atikmdag.sys
    Windows failed fast startup.

    For all tests / steps please post images into the thread.
    For any problems posting images please use one drive or drop box share links.

    1) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
    2) sfc /scannow
    3) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    4) chkdsk /scan
    5) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread
    6) Turn off Windows fast startup:
    Turn On or Off Fast Startup in Windows 10 Performance Maintenance Tutorials
    7) To fix the misbehaving AMD graphics drivers:8) Uninstall everything AMD using Display driver uninstaller and install new drivers from the computer or motherboard manufacturer's website or from the AMD website.
    9) The computer or motherboard manufacturer websites are preferred as sources of new drivers if they are available.
    10) If you use the AMD web site be sure the "clean install" box is checked and only install the graphics driver.

    12) Run memtest86+ version 5.01 for at least 8 passes. Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool
    This may take hours so plan to run it overnight.
    Please make sure you use the Memtest86+ version 5.01 with the link below.

    The testing is done not by time but by passes.
    The more passes the better.
    There are a significant number of false negatives if fewer than 8 passes are made.
    A false negative is a test pass when there is malfunctioning RAM.
    There is 8 GB of RAM on the computer.
    Memtest86+ version 5.01 testing takes approximately 1 - 2 hours /GB RAM
    Just 1 error is a fail and you can abort testing.
    Then test 1 RAM module at a time in the same DIMM each for 8 or more passes.
    When Memtest86+ has completed 8 or more passes use a camera or smart phone camera to take a picture and post an image into the thread.

    13) The BIOS: BIOS Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. V8.3, 4/7/2016
    Check to see that this is the most up to date BIOS.

    14) Open the website for the computer's drivers and bios and post a URL or hyperlink into the thread.
    15) make sure that there is no over clocking during the troubleshooting process

    16) Make sure your files are backed up.

    17) Please make a backup image with Macrium:

    Enabled driver verifier for all drivers and no BSOD, reconfigured verifier for non-Microsoft drivers and got DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION BSOD at startup, had to enter Safe Mode to disable verifier.
    Oh and I forgot to mention that after one of the latest restarts firefox stopped working for some reason.

    1) Open the website for the computer's drivers and bios
    2) Post the URL or hyperlink into the thread.
    3) Type verifier in the left lower corner search > on the driver verifier manager click delete existing settings > click finish > click yes or ok
    This should turn off Windows driver verifier.
    Please keep Windows driver verifer off.
    The tool will be used at a later time with specific settings.
    4) Update the chip set drivers
    5) Run Memtest 86+ version 5.01 for 8 or more passes.

    The more the passes the better the test.
    6) When the testing has completed 8 or more passes use a camera or smart phone camera to take a picture and post an image into the thread.
