    work for me, for example.

As you say you've done a clean install, and presumably have no 3rd party security programs, that seems a curious difference... except that reports exist such as this:

Your browser is not supported | usatoday.com

    - saying that it will be or has been disabled, and that there should be no remaining icons etc to be found...
(and my Edge is up to date)
I got something similar to yours but cannot take a screenshot. It does not open when I hit OPEN and no message.
By the way, can you tell me how to take that screenshot? It disappears immediately when I use the tool. Thanks

    a. With Snip & Sketch- do a timed screenshot.

    b. You have a laptop - use the PrtSc key (saves to clipboard) then paste that.

    c. Use a 3rd party tool with a suitable hot key combo or linked to a mouse button perhaps that captures a full screen screenshot

No, I could not do it. When I touch the snipping tool or snip & sketch, the items in the search box disappear immediately. You know that when you move the cursor away, then the search box becomes inactive. Can you tell me again how you do? Thank you.

    Screenshot search box.

Type in the searchbox. Then press PrtSc

    Open Paint (app)

Click a blank spot in the window that opens. Press [Ctrl+V]

    Save the image.

    I gave you 3 ways.

Snip and Sketch: a bit tricky- set up the timer THEN what you want to capture e.g. a context menu, Windows search box or whatever, and WAIT.

Do you have a PrtSc key?

    Use Google if unclear.
