    Don't like Microsoft mail always open


    I don't like the way Win 10 and MS mail works as part of Win 10. Is there a way to download MS outlook.live as a program to put on my desktop so I can control when it is open and closed?

    I installed ThunderBird but can't setup my Hotmail account in it???? I can login on the web so I know my password is correct.

    Any help or suggestions would be appreciated

    Thanks for the link, it is the best one I have seen yet however even though I have all the setting correct but can only send emails. I can receive them.. not sure way but still searching for the answer.

    I found the reason it was ME!!!!! when you get old your eyesight isn't the best and I had 2 l's in the word mail in my server settings.

    Thank so much for the link it made me look again and I saw the problem
