    How To Disable Chrome PLUGINS?

I am on 64 bit Windows 10 Pro 1909 18363 1256 and I can see extensions but not Plugins! I have a site that now will not log me in any more but it will with the portable Chrome. However it is not an extension so I want to try to disable the Plugins but I do not seem to be able to get to it any more. Why cant they just leave things alone!!!

    Extensions are plugins for Chrome.

Well, I do see them, but I asked as I thought I had Plugins as well. I have a site that will not let me login in Chrome but it will let me login with Chrome Portable. I admit that my Portable version is down level. Perhaps I will get a new current portable and see if it will still let me log in. I did disable the Extensions and came here as they did not help.

I don't have google chrome but I don't think that you can remove/ disable plugins.

    chrome://components/

Unless you mean extensions. If one is problematic then in the address bar, type:

    chrome://extensions/

    and press Enter

Toggle all extensions to off and relaunch chrome. If it now works re-enable one extension at a time until the problem occurs.

Well, I had done that before posting here and it did not matter. I think I will try a portable update as my portable version that DOES work is downlevel.

I can only suggest reset it. (Assuming that you already tried updating).

On another note what happens when you try to log in? You just state "It won't let me" and that doesn't describe the problem.

Is there any error message? Or else describe exactly what happens. Other Chrome users might have ideas.

OH, it just says that I can not login at this time and asks if I have a popup manager.. Of course now it worked so I will see how it goes and as soon as I get the message again I can update this thread. When it happens I can try OFTEN and several times a day!

So it's intermittent. Tricky. Maybe configure per site permissions?

See Change settings for a specific site and also click the drop down list to see permissions that van be changed including pop up blocking for a specific site.
