    AD Blockers

Hi Folks, I use both Chrome & FF on my Win10 laptops. Lately, I am getting AD's for what I'm searching for before the sites that have what I'm looking for.
I am using Malwarebytes Browser Guard a present but not very successfully.
I have tried others but they are just as bad.

    I never see ads, ever.

And I've never used an extension.

Of course, it not for everyone, but I use Startpage as my default search. True, Google is king, but I left all that behind me long ago. And to my surprise (not really), the ads disappeared.

    Just food for thought.

    Good luck, best regards.

Some extensions force a custom search, try to temporarily disable all.
