    I think you're overreacting.

If there was an infection, I would think it would be "doing" something.
Ok. It's just creating annoying popups.

What??? You have something in your Bank account these days?

Not much, but no one is taking it.

    /edit

Just ran Hitman Pro. It didn't find anything either.

    Update...

Ok... it seems I'm being plagued by a "specific" pop under. Namely... engine.spotscenered.info
So, I added that to the HOSTS file and it stopped that pop under.

BUT... it only stopped it in the regular FF browsing window. In FF Private browser window, I still get it.
    Weird.
Does Firefox's "New private window" not read the HOSTS file?
I don't get the same problem. As for Hosts file i had issues with it until i disabled DOH rollout.

    Hosts File Not Working Firefox

Note: I use 32bit Firefox on 64bit windows with FF auto update checks disabled and then I update manually.

There is Avast Browser Cleanup utility that lets you remove some addons including DOH but it only seems to work for 32bit Firefox.

I guess we can mark this as resolved. It's only one popup on one link on one site.
Doesn't show up anywhere else. And FF seems to block it anyhow.

    Thanks folks.
