    Import to Edge

I am trying to change my browser to Edge, but when I go to setting-favourites-import I don't get a list of browsers to choose from, so how do import everything to Edge?

    Thanks for looking.

    I don't use Edge, but...

If it's like most browsers, you would need to export the favorites/bookmarks from the other browser first... then import those favorites to the new browser.

It would help to know which browser you wish to grab the favorites, from.

As Ghot says. Export your bookmarks/favourites HTML file from the browser to a folder then import it to Edge.

I am using Firefox. I can export favourites as HTMl file, but the problem is that in Edge there is no dropdown menu on any import buttons.
I went into W10 settings-apps-edge and clicked modify, but there is nothing coming up, just rotating wheel. I thought there would be a repair option there.

I am actually an Edge user...
3 dots > Settings > Profiles > Import browser data > Import from V ( IE, Edge legacy, Google Chrome, Favourites or Bookmarks HTML file).
Choose what to import, ticking the option boxes required, one of which is Favourites or bookmarks.

So in general no need to go via the HTML file route.

I'm not sure if you're on Edge or Edge Chromium, but on the original Edge...

3 dots > Favorites > Import from another browser > Import from file > then browse to where you saved the Firefox bookmarks, and double click on that file.

Firefox should be in the list anyway. See image I posted previously.

I am trying to use edge Chromium, updated to latest version, but when clicking 'import' there is no list to choose anything from. I thought it would be easy to change, shows how wrong I can be.

I saw your post. The first time I opened Edge, it only showed Internet Explorer. Then I opened Edge a few more times, and then Firefox showed in the choices.

No, it should be easy, we're all probably missing something simple. Now that we know you're on Edge Chromium, and importing from Firefox, things should go a bit faster.

I will bow out, as I don't have Edge Chromium installed.
