After I disabled Chrome from startup, it starts up with 8 processes

    What is the benefit of the process running in the background? I'm assuming it will load faster, but with today's computing power, that seems unnecessary to save 10 ms opening an app. Maybe I'm missing something? Just disabled it from my Win 10 laptop.

    or you can just shut off the background process as Chrome allows you to do.
