Outlook.com giving me strange stuff after 1903 Update?

All of a sudden Outlook.com frequently adds the stuff in the attachment to mail in the inbox. It may have started when I updated Windows to 1903 but I'm not really sure. Any idea on what the heck I did to cause this magic? It never ends! Two steps forward and 1.5 steps backward. Help appreciated

    Hi Ken

Does this happen in other browsers?

In your current browser have you cleared your browsing data?

Is your mail setup in conversation mode? I notice the Amazon email has the words "Your Account" and I'm wondering if it is associating this "Get Started" as it it related to "Account"

If you ungroup conversation does information disappear?

Is what gets attached always the same?

Yes, it happens in Microsoft Edge and Explorer as well as Chrome. So it would appear Outlook.com is the culprit.

Conversation View is set to "Off"

I attached another screen shot to show that it has nothing to do with Amazon. The strange stuff is always shown after the last email in the Inbox.

Also, the same "strange stuff" appears on other PC's another with 1903 upgrade installed and one with the older 1809 version of Windows 10.

Thanks. I was hoping it was outlook trying to group emails. That it isn't.

Is it an image or is the "X" to the right of "Get Started" active. If you click the X I assume it reappears.

Are you also using Outlook (the app / program) as part of Office 365? (Maybe you are using as part of free trial).

Thanks for the attempt to solve my problem. But it looks like Microsoft is trying to annoy me to the point I WILL upgrade from a very old version of Office to Office 365. Others are complaining about the same issue! See link:

Office Home and Student 2010. Microsoft is trying to p!$$ me off and make uninstall Office 2010 on one machine and make it an "email only" system! If I need a word processor or a spreadsheet program on that system I could use the Google free stuff that's part of Chrome. But...I learned to love Office over the years @ work. So I'll probably wait and see if they fix the problem or maybe someone out there will figure out how to make the "Strange Stuff" go away.

    Interesting, 2010 is still supported.

Since you are using outlook.com you do have access, online only, to the newest products. Click the nine squares in the upper left of the mail screen, word, excel and Powerpoint are all listed.

Yeah, I forgot that they are part of Outlook too. But then I'm in a let's be mad at Microsoft mood for a day or two.

I need to chime in that this is occurring for me as well. But I am not on 1903. 1809 over here. Happens in Chrome right this second. Have not tested anything else. Noted that it disappears if you empty your Inbox completely - but reappears with at least one email in there.

    Sonic.
