Got 'er done.
So I just upgrade my laptops MR6 to MR7, it went just as smooth(and blitz fast) as yesterday on my main machine,
After updating some other software(I very rarely turn it on), I'm making an image with it.
Just went to delete an old Macrium image, and got this error message below. In fact, this is because of the new Macrium Image Guardian.
I was a little surprised, as this was quite an old backup from 7.0. I imagined the protection would only apply to new images.
So to delete the image, you have to turn off MIG first. I would prefer to see a Defender style setup whereby it is only temporarily turned off.
I'm running the paid version 7.1 but something strange seems to be happening, I've just tried deleting an image file on an attached usb drive and got the blocking dialogue box, the attempt in my first post was to delete a file on another Pc on the network. I think I need to investigate further!!
Hi,
Guys, a new patch is just out bringing the version to 7.1.2611
Cheers,
