It is stable. You only have to update your rescue media if the issue fix affects you, but I am anyway. Thanks Cliff you beat me to it this time.:)
Only because I wanted to make an image today because I now have my media libraries(WMP, Groove and MediaMonkey) organized and the metadata is in AppData on my C: drive of course, and not the actual music library in file explorer. on my 2nd internal

That is the same exact way I found out about the last driver update.

I was going to update until I found out the update is $41.00. It's a little more than I want to spend at the moment.
I can relate! My very first Macrium Reflect Pro v6 bill was $100+ for 4-license pack. I bought pro because it will work with dynamic disks and the making of DVD/USB stick WinPE/Macrium boot is much easier to do.
...I uninstalled Acronis 2016, which I paid for, and switched over to Macrium. I'm very impressed with it!
I also got Macrium Reflect Pro. However, I kept Acronis 2015 [nonCloud] 'cause that way I have full OS and data partition images from two different sources.
For me personally 5Free works good enough, on my system it takes a little over 4 minutes(SSD->7400rpm HDD) for a complete image, and that's faster than the System imager in Windows 7 doing incremental. I'm definitely not complaining:)
Thanks, and I got the new FREE version of it today, and it took only 3:09 to make a new IMAGE file of my current system.
I really like Macrium Reflect. ...and I have restored an image file , and I know it works fine.
All be safe.. Cliff M.

Beginning to wonder if 6.1 is stable
or is it a preview release..
It is fine. As far as rescue media, from the release notes, you really don't need to update your rescue media:
Rescue media driver update Selecting a path with a very large number of files to scan for updated drivers could cause Reflect to crash. This has been resolved.

If you ask me, Macrium Reflect should be obligatory, first application installed after installing Windows 10.
Users often think it as just another backup application but in fact it is much more, giving more than any other free imaging solution....
