    If you have multiple drives with different OS's on them, the first step is testing each drive to see if it will boot on its own. The second is making sure the boot manager is correct for which drives have which OS on them, etc. Do not use the Windows Boot Manager, use either Clover or rEFInd.

    SIW2 - your comment finally inspired an idea: When I modified my BIOS per the Tachytelic article I link to, especially when I added the line for NvmExpressDxe_Small into the BIOS per that article, does my BIOS now expect to find the NVMe drivers in my Win 7 and so (even in my original HDD) my Win 7 startup hangs because Win 7 doesn't have them yet?

    Also, is your link the only stuff I have to run to insert NVMe drivers into Win 7? Both msu files or only one?

No Recovery Partition on cloned NVMe SSD

I have used Aomei Backupper to clone a Windows 10 Pro SATA3 SSD to a new NVMe M2 SSD. It went well and I now have a new boot drive but the cloning process did not copy over the Recovery Partition from the original SSD. Is that a problem? Thanks
