Booting an old cloned Macrium system Drive

    Hello,
    1. I'm running Windows 10 on drive C.
    2. I have a SSD drive with the drive letter G on my PC, which is a clone from my previous Windows 10 System (not from my current system on drive C).
It's a clone by Macrium Free. So one new windows installation on C and an old Windows system clone on G.

I realized I need to boot G again, because there are some certificates I would like to have. Well, if that is even possible.

I tried to change the boot order in the Bios to G, but Windows doesn't seems to recognize the old system.?
I installed Macrium recovery into the boot menu, but I can't even see or select any windows installation. The wizard doesn't see any installation even not my current one.

Well, I'm not an expert. That's what I did so far and that's my question.

Can I boot my old system drive G?
(Maybe without complete destroying my current system on C so I can go easily back to it. :)

    Thank you for your help

Open admin command prompt and create a dual boot entry

    Code:
    bcdboot g:\windows /p /d
You can now select old drive

    Thank you for your answer.

I ran command prompt as an admin. Typed: bcdboot g:\windows /p /d
    and got:
BFSVC Error: Failed to set element application device. Status = [c00000bb]
BFSVC Error: Failed to populate BCD store. Status = [c00000bb]

I was able to get into G:\boot
but not into cd /d G:\efi\microsoft\boot\ or cd /d G:\ESD\Windows\EFI\Microsoft\Boot\
    as I read in a tutorial to restore/repair a EFI/GPT Bootloader.

Should I try to fix the bootloader? with
    bootrec /fixboot on G?

Sorry for my newbie questions. :)

Can't you just mount the clone (navigate to it, double click and select the OS partition) and copy the Certificates off that way? Can certainly do that with an image so I see no reason a clone would be different.

Well that would be funny if I really could do it. ?
I read that the certificates are located somewhere on the system drive where you can't reach it without booting the system and exporting them.
    They are stored here:?
    [HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SystemCertificates\]
    [HKCU\Software\Microsoft\SystemCertificates\]

Of course I have no idea. If you could give me a hint how I could reach them?
I have an encrypted file, which I did with windows, copied it over to the new system and can't decrypt it without the older windows user certificate.

    Any help would be awesome.
