I have an SSD and a HDD, and Windows 10 cannot find my hard disk drive. When I go to This PC, it does not show up. Device Manager doesn't show it, either.
This could explain why Windows is taking about a full minute to boot up.
How do I get Windows to find my HDD again?
System specs:
Alienware M15
Windows 10 Home version #1903
try plugging it in and out - reseating in other words. If it still doesn't show up, it might have turned up its toes, dropped off the perch, or shuffled off this coil.
It's a laptop. Alienware M15. I need to watch some videos to see how to safely do this.
Meanwhile, Disk Management does not detect the hard drive.

Success! It was just a loose connection between the hard drive and the motherboard, and I tightened it. I also tightened the battery connection, as I've had issues with my laptop recognizing the battery before.
