Macrium Reflect, free or paid. Free will suffice for most home users. Paid has the Image Guardian for added security, among other features.
Very reliable software, and that's what people are looking for. It just works.

As you will have seen by now, Macrium Reflect Free is well recommended.
There is only one disadvantage to the Free version, after a few years of using it you'll start to feel a little guilty of using such a fine piece of software without paying for it. You'll end up buying it (I know I did)
