Can't boot from newly cloned SSD drive

    It could be that the system reserved partition is not marked as active.

    Here is a shot from EaseUs and my device manager. My cloned SSD wont boot when installed but will from usb connection. I have cloned hard drives without this much trouble in the past. Any help or guidance you can provide is greatly appreciated.

    Same problem


    Asus N55SF Laptop with 8GB RAM
    Crucial MX500 1TB SSD
    Windows 10 with 20H2 update

    Been trying for days using different cloning programs to clone my existing Hitachi 750GB HDD to the Crucial SSD, all looks fine until I try to boot from the Crucial SSD and nothing happens, whether trying to boot via USB or internally. I have also tried both a USB Docking station and a USB to SATA3 cable, same result each time

    @stevejohn, I would recommend that you start your own thread for your issue and a good place to start is to describe your exact problem and post a screenshot of disk management:
