Can't restore image made with Reflect and using Reflect

I made an image on my Dell xps 13 (win10pro) while running fine. I tried to install a win10 image from another notebook using redeploy. It wouldn't work as it said I had to have a paid version on the xps. So I corrupted the xps by installing the new image so it won't boot. I tried to restore the working image and have had nothing but failures. The xps in boot mode saw the rescue usb drive and external drive that has the working image. But when I get to Reflect to find image the external drive doesn't show.
I tried to install a fresh install with win10 figureing if I can get it running I could install reflect and use it to restore the image. IT wouldn't install. Started but kept coming back to inital install instructions.
I have a real basket case it seems. And I'm not pc learned enough it seems.

Any suggestions too get the running image I made back onto the hard drive? seems this xps boot is totally different then my Dell e6530 win 10 boot menu, etc.

I can't get into it at all. Partitions are still there. I tried to erase them and format them so a clean install might be done but they keep coming back.

I can't get the usb drives now to show. I did restore defaults in the bios. Pretty messed up.

With a clean install - you delete every partition (Do Not Format the Drive)
then allow windows setup to install to the unallocated disk space

Since this is a clean install the external USB (Image) drive is not required at this point...
After the clean Install - you would then use macrium to restore the OS partition

Thanks. I did that and now are in the process of restoring. Lucky I had 3 images saved in 3 different backup drives. Somehow I deleted or formatted the drives so Reflect wasn't showing the image and confusing me. I found the 3 and last one and now is restoring. Live and learn. Ha.
