A year or so back that feature was inadvertent enabled in Free for one build, so I saw just how much of a speed difference it can make for a restore. It was 'fixed' in the next build, so when the black Friday offer came along I bought a 4-pack just to get it back again.
Reason I asked is I have 5 licences (original and 4 bought in half price sale (which are already half price), and was willing to donate one to my "Favourite Southern Belle" if you did not have it.
That's very generous of you, and I'm sure Wynona can be trusted. Anyone contemplating giving away or selling an unused licence to a stranger needs to be aware that each licence key is linked to the original purchaser's personal details on Macrium's licensing servers, when the key is installed your true name will appear on the 'Licensed to:' line in the 'About Macrium Reflect...' info.
When you install a licence key Macrium checks on their activation server that this key is not already in use, and if not it activates and downloads the 'licensed to' name from the activation servers. For a 4-pack of licences all four will share the same licensed owner information.
...Plus I DID NOT purchase those licenses.
That's why I said 'whatever it shows there'. Mine has my true name as I had to use that in order for the card payment to go through. I can imagine that yours may be licensed to 'the lucky winner' or something similarly generic. My point is that all four keys in a 4-pack would be licensed to the same name.
If that is the license you won and it hasn't been installed, then I can see how it would be difficult to find out the name it is licensed to.
Do you still have the email that delivered your license pack? The registration info should be included the email, it certainly was for my puchased 4-pack
