    Undoing a restore question.

A recent Win10 update screwed up several things on my computer. I restored to a point prior to the 7-11-18 update, but Windows said it was unable to complete the restore (unable to access a file -- likely due to an antivirus). However, the incomplete restore appears to have fixed some of my problems. I'd like to undo the restore and then re-do the restore with the antivirus turned off. However, at this point, I don't appear to have the restore point available any longer. Will the old restore points be put back in place after undoing the restore, or am I screwed in this case. I can probably fix the problems manually if necessary, but it'll require re-installing a bunch of machine-specific drivers, and some of those re-installations are quite the pain.

    See this link:
Undo a System Restore in Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials

This tutorial will show you how to undo a system restore to return your system to how it was before doing the system restore in Windows 10.

A system restore cannot be undone until after is has completed.

If you did a system restore while in safe mode, it cannot be undone.

If you did a system restore from the System Recovery Options menu, it cannot be undone.

Making a backup image is a more reliable method to protect computer files from malware: (many free and paid versions depending upon the features needed)
Many at Ten Forums use Macrium:

Macrium Software | Macrium Reflect Free
Backup and Restore with Macrium Reflect | Windows 10 Tutorials

So others are: Aoemi, Acronis, Paragon, EaseUS, etc.

Yes, I've previously read all that, and undoing the restore is actually a simple button press. That is NOT my question. My question is what my available restore points will look like after the undo. Prior to performing the restore, I had 3 restore points available, the one I selected, and 2 others. AFTER doing the restore, I only had one restore point available (the undo). I created one when I thought the restore had solved my problems. This is what my restore points look like now:

My question is whether or not the undo operation will return the old restore points that existed prior to performing the original restore.
