Mine, BETA Version, just updated to:

    Malwarebytes version: 3..6.1.2711
    Component package version: 1.0.508
    Update package version: 1.0.8203

I know, it's BETA but someone might be interested.
It is not Beta it is a release version.

    Hello @Wiley Coyote and @CountMike:

The Malwarebytes' MB3 Project Manager has stated in the announcement:
Full Installers carrying (pre-built with) this latest component package will be available through all our online links in the next couple of days.
Therefore, the upgraded installer too will qualify mb3-setup-consumer-3.6.1.2711-1.0.508-1.0.8nnn.exe as a true Release Version.

Till then, you may have already had the the Component Package v1.0.508 pushed to your system's premium installation. Of course you may force the CP v1.0.508 upgrade by going to the MB3 GUI > Settings > Application > Application Updates > Install Application Updates (button). Then, a Windows restart will likely be requested.

Many of you may have equated a Release Version upgrade with a new and higher build number. While this is still quit true, this current additional process is also valid that takes the Component Package number into account.

In the meantime, licensed versions are receiving pushed CP v1.0.508 upgrades in the usual random and throttled manner. HTH

    Thank you,

No. thank YOU on clarification. Looking at that picture of mine, am I right to assume that I have an ordinary, run of the mill Mallwarebytes, free option edition and is up to date ?

I think you're right @CountMike but then this early in the day, I'm not so sure of anything.

Although no data can be seen in your post(s) to delineate a free or a premium installation, yes - your first two (2) version lines show an up-to-date application installation. As I send this, my third version line is at 1.0.8211. That is the so-called database version.

Multi-boot Windows 10/11 - RTM, RP, Beta, and Insider

I have an odd happening with this update. I had previously taken it with the Beta update a few days ago and found a noticeable delay with the Login screen both playing the Startup Sound and displaying the Login Box. Then a relatively long Preparing Windows, etc. before the Desktop comes up.

I removed the Beta (it was at that time) with the MB-Clean tool, and reinstalled the straight 3.6.1 with the previous component package. Re-booted, and all was back to normal.....quick sound and login box and quick to Desktop.

Yesterday, I got pushed the live component package, as you all did, installed fine. Re-booted and the same delays and laggy behavior returned.

I have no clue what may be causing it, but it is real...it is happening. Here. On 3 separate Win 10 1809 OS's.

    Bit baffled...anybody else?
