    Windows Defender strange behavior


    Hello,
    Downloaded some program. Not installed yet
    Windows Defender started 'shouting' there are some threats found.
    Well, I clicked on 'take action' but it started a non-stop action and kept 'shouting'.
    So I deleted that file, also from the recycle bin, its not on the computer any more, But Defender still says there are threats, so I ask for details, and the details are the file already deleted.
    My guess is its in Defender's history so I tryed to clean the history folder, but system does not allow me.
    (I am the user and administrator).
    I tryed to do it in the cmd prompt - not working.
    Need some help.
    Answers will be appreciated.
