@walleyeblugill, you ran the Malwarebytes scan but why didn't you mark the box to quarantine what ever it found ? Also where is the AdwCleaner log ??
The only thing I can add is: I've tried every kind of A/V, malware remover, etc. And in 20 years have had nothing but trouble. The first A/V was Norton and when that let a problem in, I dropped it. And swore to never use paid again. So over the years, even Malwarebytes let problems in. 2 years ago, when Defender let a problem in, I was advised by a friend to try ESET. It has a 30 day free trial without even asking for the credit card. I did that. And the first week, it caught and destroyed more junk than I knew I had. So I bit the bullet and bought the base version/cheapest. And in 2 years, with ESET. I have had no problems WHATSOEVER! And I don't have Malwarebytes because ESET does that for me. And what really is nice is that I don't have to "decide what to do". ESET does it all.
It is part of Zone Alarm, make sure it is uninstalled, otherwise the file is protected.
A sys driver ussualy runs as a service, you need to stop it in order to remove it.

yea eset is great , had it YEARS ago
now ...don't see the need for it
One thing ESET does not do is clean the junk left by many programs, it takes a Malware Removal person to do that !
WalleyeBlugill you need to remove PC Doctor from your Control Panel !
Run the scan again with AdwCleaner then post me the results !!
Thanks !
