    Bitwarden conflict with popup blockers

i discovered that my popup blocker was responsible for preventing Bitwarden from asking to save logins.. My only option was to disable or remove the popup blocker.

Is there anyone out there that is successful using Bitwarden and a popup blocker where both are free to do their jobs without conflict?

I use Bitwarden, just the extension, and uBlock origin in Edge with no problems.

Would help if you tell us what popup blocker and which web browser ?

I use Bitwarden with both Ublock Origin and Adblock Plus installed on Brave, Opera, Firefox (and Edge if I'm forced to under pain of extreme torture), no problems.

Some browsers have their own built-in popup blocker that can cause all sorts of problems if the user just accepts the installed default settings.

Firefox, Ublock, Popup Blocker Ultimate. I was referring to Popup Blocker Ultimate.

So my understanding is that, If I have Ublock, then Popup Blocker Ultimate.is redundant, not to mention it's causing that side effect with Bitwarden?

Yeh, if PBU is causing problems, switch blockers. Try Ublock Origin and/or AdblockPlus

EDIT : Could be the combination of both current blockers. Disable one, try Bitwarden. Works ? Re-enable, disable the other, try BW. Works?

    Experimentation.

Yes, I already have the combination, but it never occurred to me, since I have Ublock, do I need the PUB?

Not always the case but maybe these 2 are an exception. Adblockers can be a bit like antivirus programs, if you have more than one sort they can either get on very well together or fight with each other (and that's when the problems start).

It could be that either one of these will still work with another type of adblocker, it's just that these 2 particular ones together are the problem.

All you need for a blocker is UBO.
