My real time protection is turned off because Defender is telling me I'm using another AV provider when I'm not. I've exclusively used Defender since launch of Win10. Anyone know how to fix this?

This forum has a perfectly good method of showing diagrams in posts.
Click on theicon in the post's editing toolbar then follow through with From computer, Browse, ..., Upload files.

By letting people see your diagrams in your posts, you will get a much better response.

If you would like i can have a look through that computer with the logs from OTL. It is an older program we use sometime in the cleaning of viruses but it will also tell me if you have any remnant's of left over virus protections ! The logs will prob be to big for this forum so you will have to use a zip file or what ever you want to send them to me !
Download OTL (OldTimer's List-It) - MajorGeeks
Double click OTL.exe to launch the program.
Check the following.
Scan all users.
Standard Output.
Lop check.
Purity check.
Under Extra Registry section, select Use SafeList
Click the Run Scan button and wait for the scan to finish (usually about 10-15 mins).
When finished it will produce two logs.
OTL.txt (open on your desktop).
Extras.txt (minimised in your taskbar) The Extras.txt file will only appear the very first time you run OTL.
This may have to be broken into more than one post or zipped to me !
