Disable update
How do I prevent the automatic update software, such as Microsoft Office or Adobe in Os 10?
How do I prevent the automatic update software, such as Microsoft Office or Adobe in Os 10?
Settings > Update & security > Windows Update > Advanced options > deselect (untick) the "Give me updates for other Microsoft products when I update Windows".
Or, start any Office program, File > Account > Update Options > Disable Updates
Or, through registry:
Office 2013:
Office 2016:Code:[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\policies\microsoft\office\15.0\common\OfficeUpdate] "EnableAutomaticUpdates"=dword:00000000
If you want to hide the menu option to enable or disable automatic updates, add:Code:[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\policies\microsoft\office\16.0\common\OfficeUpdate] "EnableAutomaticUpdates"=dword:00000000
Give it a try.Code:"HideEnableDisableUpdates"=dword:00000001
And... which Adobe products?

I deselected the "Give me updates for other Microsoft products when I update Windows".
in Office program, File > Account > Update Options > Disable Updates Not available.
also created the following key
"HideEnableDisableUpdates"=dword:00000001
but enable or disable automatic updates was not added to the menu of office.
In my previous post, there's three options, choose either one but yes, you can use it all.
Option 2, the update button missing from Word?
Try to open other Office program.
Option 3, please type the right value or copy/paste from my previous post, looks like a slight typo there. Set 00000000 to show menu option to enable or disable automatic updates but with the missing update button, this do nothing. Just use EnableAutomaticUpdates, it's enough to disable the auto update.

I thought all the way to be done
