Prevent Automatic Upgrade to Windows 10
I support a large community of seniors. Typically I have them running Automatic Updates, because they don't want to do their own maintenance. The most common complaint they come in with is there computers are really slow. It usually turns out that they have 30 to 40 updates pending on Windows 7. Like the rest of the population many have abandoned the PC for a tablet, for most of their computing because its faster and easier and they don't have to dink around with weekly updates and reboots.
I'm really worried about the changes coming early next year with Windows 10 becoming an automatic update. I think most of them could get along with Windows 10, except the amount of internet usage required. Most of my user's are getting by with Comcast's budget service of 3MBs. If they are so slow with Windows 7 security updates, what is their internet going to be like with Windows 10 still receiving such huge updates every week.
Anyway, I'm looking for the easiest way to prevent Windows 7 from downgrading to Windows 10 if automatic updates are left on.
