Anyone?
Kk. Should I leave my drive with all my saved files plugged in during the upgrade, or keep it unplugged until Windows 10 is installed?
I figured the Media Creation tool would be the best way since it won't require me to update Windows 7 with hundreds of updates. Or... will it?
A couple other important questions. I know Windows 7 installation can have issues when multiple drives are plugged in. When I installed it on my SSD, it apparently put some boot info on my HDD and...
Forgot I left a page file there. I'm totally smart.
Come on Windows, I just want to format my HDD. Stop telling me the drive is in use when it has almost no programs on it and nothing on the drive is open -_-
Final inquiry about this. When I reinstall Windows 7, should I need to install all the hundreds of Windows updates or can I just get started with the Windows Media Creation tool?
My sisten is a boot SSD with some programs on it and two HDD's. As I've never done it or have much experience with reinstalling Windows, if I were to just clean install 7 on my SSD and keep...
Could it possibly be related to Windows Update errors? If I run Windows Update Diagnostic I get this as a result: http://puu.sh/jknmZ/f40dd46301.png
Can't find a way to fix those 2 issues though.
I can't install Windows 10 through any available methods. Out of luck until Microsoft creates a better system for this upgrade :/
Probably a dumb question: it wouldn't fail because the ISO that I mount and run is on my secondary HDD while my OS is installed on my SSD? Just trying to think of dumb little details that may be...
The same error has happened to lots of people. For some it's a language pack issue, while for others there is no known fix. I'll try some other stuff and see if I can figure out another install...
Safe to assume I am SOL until Microsoft comes up with a better upgrade method?
I get to the screen right after the one where you select what to keep (files and app). The install then begins and gets to 8% every time and closes and gives me a "Something Happened" error telling...
Well, I got the "Something Happened" error. Great.
Thanks. A bit confused on part of the instructions though. It wants you to mount the Windows 10 ISO to the USB, which I can do now with Rufus. But then: "Next mount the Upgrade Program Script ISO....
Gotcha. It still works the same as the media tool right? As in, you need to do the upgrade installation first and not a clean install?
Also not quite sure how to mount the ISO to a USB as the...
Apparently it requires a 16GB flash drive :/
Don't got one bigger than 14GB (well, its a "16GB" stick but really only can use 14.8GB). Doesn't it require you to use the Media Creation Tool (or...
I did many more reboots than that with no success. I have written more to my SSD than I would like. Already wrote like 50GB worth of attempts today.

I have tried what I believe to be everything at this point. Clearing out the update download folder and retrying the update does not help whatsoever. Forcing the...
