Changing the boot order is unnecessary, forgetting to reset it (many do) causes problems.

Do you see any option about legacy or uefi boot mode or something in the BIOS? ASUS hasn't properly...

Do you boot from it by changing the boot order or choosing from the boot options?

To update the BIOS

Put the downloaded file on a flash drive (USB) (extracted)
Restart the laptop and press F2 during the POST
From the BIOS go to Advanced > Start Easy Flash and press enter....

Programs that claim to update your drivers install either the wrong or corrupted drivers.
