Fair enough, there is no reason any compatible DDR3 wouldn't work. But I'd go with what you have selected matching speed and brands.
How many RAM slots do you have? Any particular reason you want more than 16gb of RAM? It is a lot and I wouldn't have thought would it make anything other than really intensive tasks like video...
I've not run away had internet issues at home, narrowed it down to either a splitter or the coaxial that goes through the wall. I have the bits to fix it so will hopefully get back to you tonight.

It's not a removable drive though is a SATA 3 SSD on the same controller as the C: drive. :-S

So it does! that has changed though, it never used to, when I upgraded my PC I tried a clean install with a disc and had to reinstall 8 to upgrade properly.
