Hi Shazman,
I would try that. Doing so will confirm that your desktop can communicate with the router. If it does so and allows you access to your network, you will then know that the problem is...
Welcome Shazman.
Your post provides no information as to what equipment you have.
Assuming you have, in addition to your PC which I assume is a desktop, a laptop or a tablet of some sort, or a...
Hi Jimbo, while you may very well be correct in your statement above, the company which developed this product: PQChat Home would beg to differ with you. Have a read of the various sections: you...
I upgraded to 10586 last night on my gen 1 Surface Pro. The upgrade completed without a hickup, and has left my Office 365 2016, Chrome, VMWare player all running perfectly. I'll hold off on a clean...
Hi Jeff.
Re: "Again only 1 pc in the network and NOT mine."
1: Have you network discovery turned on?
2: Are you logging on using a PIN or using your Microsoft account email address? If using...
There's need to be, to put it as politely as possible, nasty or snide. The person working in the call centre may very well have achieved an educational level and qualification beyond most of us. That...
Bravo: concise and very much to the point.
That is a perfectly valid opinion, though one with which I would totally disagree. If someone who could enforce the notion decided that all we are allowed to discuss on this forum is material which...
That's a perfectly valid point of view. On the other hand, the Earth is +- a year or two 4.543 billion years old and is still evolving. Do you kick up about that as well and as often as about...
Gary, I take my hat off to you. As contrary people go, you're up there with the most gripey. What does it take to evoke a smile?
zooburner, it was exactly that - i.e. as per your post no. 23. My point, very obliquely and obviously inadeqately put, was that Microsoft could not possibly open the floodgates and let anyone with a...
So there I am with my 10 year old machine glorying in a magnificent 1 meg of ram which runs my XP perfectly well. I don't have a care in the world. Microsoft kindly offers me a free upgrade to the...

As posted by Brink a short while ago: Windows 10 ISO Download - Windows 10 Forums
If you do enter a PIN, on your first or subsequent login, on your next login you can use your password instead. Your network locations will then show up.
Badrobot, I did clean installs of the ISO I previously made from the 10240 ESD today. They each activated. I entered the product code for 10240 as per the opening post (Brink's) in this thread....
Just started here also:-)
n70shan, I'd recommend following the route that many here have tried, and found to work. That is to follow the tutorial. Good luck if you choose to stick with the route you've already tried.
Here's the tutorial on how to upgrade:

I rolled back to build 10162, did a file clean-up, de-fragmented and then re-upgraded to build 10166. For whatever reason, the problem with "All apps" seems to have disappeared.
Since upgrading to Windows 10 Build 10166, the "All apps" item listing does not display on my Toshiba Satellite C660D. It does show up on my Surface Pro and on my Lenovo E73 i5.
The "All apps"...
Good idea BunnyJ. I've got a scan running now. Prior to downloading Malwarebytes I uninstalled Chrome. To do that required running Taskmaster and shutting down 4 instances of Chrome which were...
Windows 10 Build 10158 has messed up my Chrome. I'm getting a whole load of popups, which never appeared before - even in Build 10130.
I can get rid of them by turning off JavaScript, but then...
