............how do I copy everything from my old account to my new one.................
Before you ask...........................
I have never had to do that and therefore I really am not sure...
I did not take it that way either.
It's all good.
In my opinion based only on personal experience without textbook to validate, the answer is yes, it is corrupted.
You are welcome.
Thank you.
Well. I have given you what I know.
The next step in in your court.
If you decide to conclude this thread, please mark it as Solved.
If you want to find way to fix the corrupt...
I know it is a pain backing up your files and then reinstalling all your 3rd party programs in the new user account.
But, in a long run, deleting the corrupt account is a clear cut way to go.
...
Use this user account for a few days to make sure.
If no issues whatsoever, then go back to the original account > backup whatever you want to keep > delete the account.
Why ? My conclusion...
Jesse,
How about creating a new user account with exactly the same privileges as this one.
Logon to it and see if the same issue persists.
You know, I doubt MS even knows that.
Moreover, it's probably too small a fish for MS to be bothered with while there are still many glitches to be fixed.
I have the same error message as you mentioned.
I don't think that is related to your current issue.
Well. There is nothing in my "bag of tricks" that can help you any further.
I apologize for not being helpful.
Good luck.
By the way, have you updated to 10586.71 ?
Just to be sure............... reset IE requires restart computer afterwards. Did you do the restart ?
Clear IE11 cache.............................
Internet Options > General tab at the top > under Browsing History > (optional) check the box "Delete browsing history on exit > click the Delete...
To : Jesse Williams,
Depending how serious you consider this issue.
If no solution is found and you want to get to the bottom of it, my suggestion is to do a repair install, otherwise know as...
Yes, you did.
You suggested to the OP to disable IE11.
A screenshot of your reply (Post #3) to prove it..................

I apologize if I did not explain clearly.
I myself have been using IE ever since, and I am still using it.
I mentioned Edge just to offer an alternative. I did not know until your last reply that...
My home page is Google.ca, and Google is my search engine.
That is why I could not tell the difference looking at Jesse's screenshot.
Thank you.
The OP asks to fix a certain app. Don't tell the pserson to "disable" it.
The OP did not ask how to disable. The OP asks how to fix.
You don't use IE, that's your choice. The OP does not ask you...
Thanks for pointing them out.
I wouldn't know the difference as I don't use Bing.
I was asking you to point out what was wrong with the screenshot you posted because I could not see what was wrong with it.. That's what " elaborate" meant.
By menu bar, I meant...
To : Jesse Williams
If you want to try using Edge instead of IE11. Please go ahead. You might even like it. Who knows.
If you want to stay with IE11, then do an Internet Explorer reset and see if...
Internet Explorer is a browser.
Bing is NOT a browser.
One cannot use Bing or any search engine without a browser.
Get real !!!!
Since I do not use Bing, I fail to notice any issue from the screenshot.
Would you mind elaborate ?
Meanwhile, if you suspect IE11 not working properly, reset your IE11.
