Managed to change the country code, you had to both change the system language and remove any language pack installed followed by a RESTART of the system. So now I have my system language as English...

Thanks. Tried the wmic command: it shows country code as 47 (Norway). I upgraded from Windows 8.1 OEM (Did come with the laptop) and since I bought it in Norway, it can explain why it is showing 47...
I am also stuck on 10240. I have also tried the soultions provided in this thread, but none of them worked; I will try again see if that make any difference.
I even tried to use the "Contact...
