Yes installation complete.
The whole process took about 4 1/2 hours. That's from when I started again. I think the "Preparing to install updates 32%" froze for at least 45 minutes, maybe longer....

Good idea. However having WLM on the task bar still gives notification of mail received.
A perfect reply - I realise my misunderstanding. I spend some time not online and therefore like to have access to my mail and contacts, so I will stick with WLM.
