As Partition 1 is no longer a Recovery Partition give that partition other attributes

    C:\Windows\system32>
    diskpart
    sel disk 0
    sel par 1
    set id=ebd0a0a2-b9e5-4433-87c0-68b6b72699c7
    gpt attributes=0x8000000000000000
    exit

The labels can be modified easily by
    C:\Windows\system32>label C:Windows
    C:\Windows\system32>label D: Data

What will that do to fix the problem?

I assume you mean the SFC results extract posted by zbook in his post #14.
I do not know anything about what zbook asked you to post. I had no idea that it included SFC results.

This is a shot in the dark but did you make use of any Avast icons by allocating them as the icons for shortcuts that you created to any Windows components such as Disk management?
I've seen reports of that causing irreparable SFC errors before. @Farvatten

Personally, I'd try a Repair install in your situation but only because I could not think of anything more logical to do.
Despite its name, it is a repair operation not an installation.

Each motherboard may have various options.

A member in this thread may have a Gigabyte motherboard and can comment.

Plan to make an updated Macrium backup image.

Then perform an in place upgrade repair using the iso that was downloaded to the desktop.

Thanks to all for your help but this is all too much for an old fart like me. I'm gonna leave well enough alone and ignore any SFC glitches that show their ugly heads. Closing it down. Thanks again guys!

You can't update your BIOS without the right USB-Flashdrive.

The autoexec, Efiflash, and the Z370HD3.F14 bin files are there and will be needed on the FLASH-Drive.
Don't do it, if you don't know how!

It is even possible that the step from F3 to F14 is to big and an intermediate step is needed.

Thanks M8, I think you are dead right. Doing something I know nothing about is not the best thing to do.
