Internet is delayed when connecting on boot

Seemingly this starting happening randomly a few days ago around the time of the last windows update I downloaded, I'm not sure if that was the cause or not but I system restored back before and the issue is still occuring.

Whenever I startup it takes my pc up to a minute to connect to my internet and I get this in my event viewer everytime,

    Event ID: 1003
    Source: Dhcp-Client

Your computer was not able to renew its address from the network (from the DHCP Server) for the Network Card with network address 0x309C23B4E7ED. The following error occurred: 0x79. Your computer will continue to try and obtain an address on its own from the network address (DHCP) server.

I've not super familiar with networking issues so I just tried the things I knew about like restarting my router, uninstalling the drivers in device manager, flushing my dns, doing the winsock reset command and the ipconfig release and renew but I'm still having the issue.

It not a huge deal just inconvenient and was wondering if anyone knew a way to fix it, thanks.

To make this process easier for you, there is an automated method that you can use by clicking the Download button at the top of the Tutorial. It contains a standalone .exe file delivered in a ZIP file. You just need to unzip the file and run the SystemInfo.exe file. As this file is a standalone file, there is nothing saved to your computer.

It will allow us to give you more specific advice and help!

    Thanks.

I just want to say I'm sorry I don't have a solution, but I too am experiencing this issue. I only noticed it within the last 3 or 4 days. I also have the issue when I wake from sleep.

My computer used to reboot or wake up and immediately be connected to the internet. Now it takes about 30 seconds or more for the computer to identify the network and connect. I have run through the gamut of troubleshooting steps for this one and nothing has resolved the issue. I'm truly hoping that it is an issue with Windows currently and not hardware related.

As a side note I disabled my ethernet, enabled my wifi and connected and it works as expected. When I wake from sleep the wifi immediately reconnects. So it appears to be an ethernet issue only.

See if restarting Network Connections might help.

Net stop "Netman" & Net start "Netman"

Run the above line of commands via elevated Command Prompt.
