MS account doesn't recognize internet on Windows 10 (1903)

When I try to get into my Microsoft account, it says "there is no internet connection," even though the internet connection is fine.
My problem is that I wanted to eliminate the "login" PIN, and when I did, on the next restart Windows asked for my full Windows password. I went to HELLO PIN under "sign-in options) and there is where the screen told me it couldn't find an internet connection.

Hi, please confirm you are running Win 10- it appears you're running 8.1. The build number and Home/Pro etc would also be useful.

In removing the PIN, is this what you did, or something else?
Remove PIN from your Account in Windows 10

Were you able to enter your password successfully?

If you have removed the PIN correctly, you would see nothing related to a PIN on the login screen, but there would be a Hello option which basically tells you to use your password, log in and then set up Hello.

Or, guessing, were you trying to eliminate a login prompt entirely?

    Thanks.

    To answer your questions:

    • I have Windows 10, version 1903 18362.476.
    • I was the one who tried to remove the pin
    • I was able to get back to Windows with my MS account password
    • I did not get the option you talk about. Could it have something to do with the problem MS was having today?

Perhaps you could post a photo of your login screen fully showing the options available under the sign-in prompt, erasing any personal info?

    Again, did you do this:
In removing the PIN, is this what you did, or something else?

At the startup screen, I opted for my MS password, which brought me into windows. What I want is to have NO sign-in on this computer, neither my former PIN nor the MS password, but I have no idea how to do it. It was a little scary when I couldn't login a couple of days ago after I chose to "remove PIN" and Windows did not recognize my internet connection, so I want to be sure to do it right. Sorry for the trouble.

Hi, the tutorial section often has answers to usage or configuration questions:
Sign in User Account Automatically at Windows 10 Startup

However, I've no idea what you've done to your PC in trying to do this, so you might need to fix something in some manner.
