Windows 10 crashes after every new update installation

    I checked on HP site about Windows 10 drives for my laptop. There they have not mentioned specifically if the drives have been published for this particular model. What is said is to go to device manager and do an update of the drives from there.

    I have started the update of drivers and have updated the graphics card drives till now. Let us see how it goes...

    HP telling you to do that is just their way of saying that they're too lazy to get you proper drivers. So they want you to make Windows find general prop-up drivers for you. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. I try to keep Windows from guessing what is best for my system, but not much you can do when the manufacturer taps out.

    I have created a thread on the BSOD discussion regarding the crashes. It looks like something to do with Avast Antivirus only laptop...

Yesterday I let windows update itself. Update name is "Feature update to windows 10 version 1607". I am pretty sure crashes are duo to this update. I tried to remove/uninstall this update but I can't find this update in "list of installed updates"....
My PC attempted to update build 14936 to 14942 last night and got through a bunch of stuff and then crashed. I tried to run the update again and the same thing happened. The system then reverted back to 14936. See attached jpg file.
The computer is primarily used for gaming, so I have noticed this mostly on games. Tried to play Dying Light: The Following tonight with a few friends.. game kept crashing like crazy. It was completely random for a bit.. then after a BSOD, it...
Crashes since last windows update

Hi all, my system was perfectly stable. I had 186 hours on Killing floor 2 with never a crash. Then, after the last windows update it crashed 3 times in a row. I thought maybe it was a KF2 problem. Several hours on Civ5 went ok then same thing...
