Problems after transferring C: OS SSD Drive to new SSD

I bought a new Samsung 860 pro 256gb. ssd to transfer everything from my main/OS drive to it since the drive is pretty old and, I've already had one drive just like it go bad and it was actually a little newer. First off, I just put the new drive in my Kingston docking bay and plugged in to the usb. The Samsung migration program when I clicked on start said not allocated but, went on transferring everything to the new drive. When I go into bios, it doesn't show the new drive as a booting option. I think it's booting on the over ride function. I then made another backup image to Macrium 7 Home and it said successful. The problem I'm getting, is when I choose the option to create a rescue disc I get an error about missing drivers but, allows me to continue with the rescue disc. I did nothing to the new disk but put it in the docking bay as it came. Could the fact that the migration software when I first started said it was unallocated, be where my problem is? and what should I do? Here's Rescue disc error. Maybe you should click view to add drivers?

It's not clear you cloned with Samsung then removed the old drive and put new one in and it didn't boot or did you try and boot it from USB?

I cloned, put the new one in and it boots up fine everything works except the problem with build in Macrium. In bios boot order preference, my backup drive d: is on top then the cd/dvd drive is next but, the new drive doesn't show up but, it is listed in the over ride boot section with a #1 next to it?

Please post a Disk Manager image as an attachment.

    - Launch Disk Manager (C:\Windows\System32\diskmgmt.msc)
    - Maximize the Disk Management Window so we can see everything. If any columns have information which is not fully displayed expand them so we can read them.
    - With the Snipping tool take a snapshot (whole window) and save it to your drive.
    - Attach the image to the thread.

I wonder if I should have disconnected the backup drive before the file transfer?

Right now your computer is booting in legacy BIOS mode from drive 0. You do need to adjust your pagefile settings to remove it from disk 1, though.

Your drive is a Legacy-MBR. In your BIOS it should be shown as a disk priority and not a UEFI Boot loader.

Detach drive 1 (D:) by unplugging SATA or power cable, boot from a Win 10 installation drive as Legacy and do a boot repair.

There is no need to do a boot repair. The computer is already booting from disk 0.
