    Taskbar log on icons invisable.

Once again I shall be grateful for assistance,
My daughter's Acer laptop has Windows 10 OS. I don't know which version number but it will be a fairly recent if not the most recent version. Recently, she told me that the log on icons on the Taskbar had disappeared.
Using Teamviewer, I had a remote look at the laptop and sure enough the icons are missing. After a little research, I found the icons were actually on the taskbar but invisable.
I have fiddled about in Settings/Personalisation/Taskbar without success.
Can someone kindly tell me what I need to do to restore visability to the icons.

Hi, I don't know what you mean by the 'log on icons' but assuming the taskbar icons are hard to see, this may be due to some theme she has applied, or some choice of accent colour.

No screenshots, minimal clues, no history... but of course I appreciate this is not your PC...

    Recently, she told me
If there's a suitable System Restore point, created before this happened, try using that.

    Otherwise I suggest you
    a. Ask her if she's using any 3rd party tool to modify the appearance
    and if not
    b. Instruct her to set the theme to a default theme
    Change Theme in Windows 10

Unfortunately there are many options to change the theme and the colour scheme.

    You could experiment with
Turn On or Off Start, Taskbar, and Action Center Color in Windows 10
    - so no accent colour is shown

whilst here you can change it:

The user profile may have become corrupted and Windows loaded a Default Profile.

Thank you all for your answers.
I managed to restore the taskbar icons to full view via Teamviewer (my daughter lives some 200 mies from me).
I firstly tried a restart on Windows Explorer. This did not seem to work so I deleted W.E., then I shut down and then restarted the PC. I then tried another W.E. restart and this time it worked.
    Regards to all,
