Trying to switch Intel HP laptop to AHCI, not working

I'm trying to switch my Intel HP computer with Windows 10 from RAID/RST to AHCI but nothing is working. The BIOS doesn't show a way to access SATA and going into safe mode with the command prompt doesn't change this, the BIOS still looks the same. What do I do to get it to switch to AHCI?

Does the laptop only has one drive?

You have to prepare the changes on Windows before you change BIOS mode.

Most new laptops do not give the option to change the SATA configuration. If the Laptop has an NVME drive installed, there will be no option to change it as it runs off PCIe Lanes from the CPU. So you are stuck with the driver that's on it.

If it's an older laptop with a SATA hard drive or SSD, then there should be an option to change the mode, but I would need to know the model of the laptop

    Cheers
